The Anstruther Phil welcomes singers of all abilities aged 16 and above. We have no auditions and aim to support inexperienced people who want to sing in a choir. We practice every piece of music many times and recommend learning tracks to practise at home. We allocate a mentor to you, another member of the choir who you can ask for advice and help.
Anstruther Phil is committed to:

What we ask for:
- Enjoyment of singing.
- Commitment to attend rehearsals.
- Sing in the concert. There are two each year – one in December and one in Spring (usually April).
How to join:
- Contact our Secretary in advance – secretary@anstrutherphilharmonic.org or text Helen on 07909 972127. We want to give you the best possible welcome and will send you information in advance and arrange to meet you at the door.
- Come along to any rehearsal.
- Pay when you are ready. You will only be asked to pay our membership fee if you are sure you want to stay with us! Membership costs £60 per concert, including all rehearsals, music and concert participation.
